I new banner got used in the Reporters thread at Fanforum, which is just cool.
I got a B on my midterm, actually happen to get the class average exactly, which
actually wasn't that high, but i'm satisfied with a B for right now.
Added some stuff to the site, some old artwork that's been lurking around on my
hard drive, so added that in the miscellaneous artwork section.

weeeeee, more quizzes. I'm thinking of getting the season 1 Smallville base set,
damnit Matt and Arelis, it's all your fault!

You Are: Sweet Chlarker
You are a Sweet Chlarker!
You are highly 'squee'-ish for them.
Whether it's rescues or just plain, everyday, C&C
you love it to pieces. Forget Clark and Lana,
you know where the, true sweetness is!
Take the What kind of
Chlarker are you? Quiz

I seem to be in a quiz mood (or more of a, i finished my midterm, now i dont
wanna do anything mood).

Reporters
bring minty freshness to the world. That is, those who cheer on Clark and Chloe.
Chances are you enjoy the times when Chloe snarks on Clark and blame it on her
burning love for that hunk of steel.
Which
Smallville 'Ship Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla

You're
Libbie Schrader of Think of England. You've got a voice full of soul and the
most amazing ability to write music. You and your band of crazy friends are just
starting out, so there's plenty of time for you to make it big or even
medium-sized. The music is what matters to you.

Pity-Me
Princess... Poor baby.

You are Alice Marano from Brokedown
Palace. There's something about you that makes you a scapegoat. Maybe you're
a reformed black sheep or you could just have a look in your eyes that people
don't trust, but honestly you're a good person. You would be loyal to your
friends, the ones who truly cared about you, til the end, and that's what makes
you so wonderful.

God, Dawson's Creek is just such a horrible show. I'm beginning to understand
why 90210 fans stuck around till it ended even when the show just absolutely
sucked. At least only 10 more episodes left, then I can have my wednesday nights
back.

I was gonna update last nite, but blogger wasn't working.
So i was just sitting there, doing my econ (midterm tomorrow, ahhhh) and my
roommate from santa cruz IMed me this link: auction.
And people say you can't put a price on stuff like this. What's even scarier is
there ARE bids, i mean really now, that's just frightening.
And i just found this story: Computer
Users Warned of Clot Risk. Something I should be made aware of, now, cause
goodness knows how much time I spend in front of the computer, at work and at
home.

Remember MASH? I decided to play an online one tonite, and boy do I like the
results:
You will live in Apartment.
You will drive a Pink Jeep.
You will marry Josh Hartnett and have 3 kids.
You will be a Graphic Designer in New York.
Talk about a good life, hehe. If
you wanna play it

So the Superbowl is on, and I could care less, lol. I'm actually much more
interested in the half-time show than anything else. And San Diego, dude, you
would think that it's New Year's Eve at Times Square here. The Gaslamp was
PACKED for the past 2 nights. One cool thing though is, i've never seen so many
celebs in San Diego before, Celine Dion, Shania, Dixie Chicks, Santana, Michelle
Branch, and who knows who's in the audience watching.
Congrats to Andre Agassi for pounding his opponent in the Aus Open finals, esp
after his opponent had the nerve to question Andy's wrist injury after he won.
People with bad sportsmanship are just so annoying.
First midterm is on wednesday and i'm still having problems with the problem
sets, eek. And the professor still hasn't e-mailed me back.
[edit]
[1/23/2003 4:50:07 AM | Angeline Huang]
Carpi Diem, yep, that's all I have to say about that.
And i'm more in love with Andy Roddick than ever. Two great matches in a week.
After pulling off the victory from a 2 set deficit, he pulls off another victory
in an epic 5 hour match where the last set ended with the score 21-19. There's
something that's gotta be said about a guy that can play a 5 hour tennis match.
Oh yeah, and it doesn't hurt that he has one cute butt, hehe.
Been trying to do my problem sets for statistics and I don't really understand
them, and my midterm is next week, that's not good, hopefully office hours will
help. The professor refuses to put up answers to the problem sets on the class
website (the problem sets aren't due) cause he thinks we won't do the problem
sets if he does that, but I need answers to check, and often times when I see
the answer, I'm able to figure out the problem. You know the answer is easy, is
the steps in the middle that are hard. So he said we have to go to office hours
for answers, so hopefully office hours won't be too disorganized and I can get
the solutions somehow and be able to have them to refer to and be able to do the
problems sets and such.
Oh and my roommate is a redhead now, yep, she's a sexy banana.

So it seems Mandy was in San Diego today, as the reporter for MTV at Qualcomm
Stadium for the Super Bowl Media Day. I didn't find out till the afternoon and
my roommate was telling me "you have a car, go! drive over there and go
find her!" And I was like "yeah rite! like I would make it off the
freeway." Plus I figured I would have no chance of getting in, security
would be tight, and it seemed a little drastic. So rational took over my brain
and i didn't go. But course now i regret not going, I shoulda just gone, even if
I didn't see her and it was a complete waste, at least I woulda done it, and
there would be no what ifs.

I didnt even drink last nite but I spent all last nite sick, throwing up, and
woke up with a headache. I think it was the Denny's food.
Anywaiz, I finished up the design and coding of a site I was asked to help with.
Not a paying job, but it was nice to be seeked out and given a job to do.
Hopefully in the future, I'll be able to get paying jobs. Also was e-mailed by
someone and asked to be a co-owner with them on a website, so I decided to take
the opportunity. Yeah, I know they both ended up being Mandy sites, but hey, if
that's all I can get for now, i'll take it. At least I'm only maintaining one of
them, and it's using php, so hopefully I can learn what php is and how it works
and stuff. The links to both sites are added in the sites section.

I just got finished watching the ^(#(*%&(*#%^@#^@& best game of tennis,
EVER! Andy was losing, down 2 sets and he pulled through and won the next 3
sets. It was nervewracking as hell, watching him on the brink of losing and then
he totally turned it all around. Expect a banner change once i find pictures!

I think I broke a record for longest phone conversation, i spent nearly 3.5
hours on the phone last nite. I called a friend that I hadn't talked to in
forever, and we conferenced another person, who conferenced in another person,
who conferenced in another person. So there was 5 of us in that one phone call
and it was so confusing, but fun at the same time. I rarely ever use the phone
cause most of my communication is through internet, so it was a nice change. So
thanx to all the phone people from last nite, it was fun :)

changed the music (and it's not mandy or josh!), i'm in love with this song
right now, i dunno why.
And also the quote, cause it was just so funny to me. And got a guy with
breadstick arms, he kicked his opponet's butt today 6-2, 6-3. 6-2. Well tennis
players arent exactly known for being buff anywaiz, hehe.
And guess where I went to dinner tonite...McDonalds, lol. I dunno why, my
roommate just said "lets go to McDonalds for dinner" and I was like
"ok!"
And so ends this very random entry.

My friend sent me this link,
and it's very um...how do I say this, frightening?! Yeah very scary, I mean that
just kinda goes beyond any type of fandom or fanaticism.
On a sweeter note, I got this
in the mail today from one of my friends, as a late xmas present. It's so cute,
now I have my own stitch!

I baked for the first time ever today! It's my roomie's 20th birthday on
saturday, and we celebrated today cause well we all have busy schedules and
today was the best day to do it. She loves purple and since it's hard to find a
purple cake, I thought i'd attempt to bake a purple cake for her. So I used this
melted ice cream recipe, which is you take cake mix, eggs, and ice cream and mix
it all together, and bake. Not hard, rite? So I got Dreamery Raspberry Chunk ice
cream because it's purple, did the mixing, and the cake dough was purple, I was
so happy. I thought, great it's purple, it's going to bake purple! But no :(.
Not only did I forget that dough um rises when you bake, so I filled the cake
pan to the very top, but when it did bake and rise all over the pan, it baked
into this yucky gray color. I was so sad, I was about to cry. So halfway
through, we took the cake out and ended up transferring it to another cake pan
and it ended up being this thin one layer cake. And it was such a good idea too,
it just didn't turn out well, which makes me sad :(

Just wanted to say I found this amusing. So the writer of the book that got made
into the next Mandy Moore movie has a livejournal, and periodically when I'm
bored I'll go read it cause she's amusing, and sometimes has the coolest quizzes
linked. But anywaiz, her entry from Monday,
January 13th, 2003 was rather amusing to me, cause being the MM fan that I
am, I know all about the looks she's talking about in the entry.
And I also watched Andy's first round match from last night cause the Australian
Open just started, during the second set, he bent down to tie his shoe, so some
girls whistled, and Andy being the fun player to watch that he is, shook his
butt. Which is a rather nice butt might I add. Look,
it just keeps moving and moving and moving... hehe
Alrite, off to finish my EARTH homework, why did I decide to take this class?

I think i might have a summer internship. Went for an interview today, and they
really liked me, they wanted me to start soon, but I said I couldn't do it
because of school and my job, but she really liked me and wants me for the
summer if I can do it. Still looking around though, but at least I have
something for now.
Every go see Chicago, though I still like Moulin Rouge better (because i'm a sap
and love all that sappy love stuff), Chicago is worth seeing. Renee Zellwegger
keeps surprising me, five years ago she was that unknown actress in that movie
with Tom Cruise. Since then she's made a mark for herself, first she was Bridget
Jones and now she's a singing and dancing murderess, lol.
Oh and don't go see Maid in Manhattan, it was just bleh. And J-Lo and Ralph
Fiennes do not match at all. If you want to see a romantic comedy, go see Two
Weeks Notice instead, much much better movie.

New layout. yup, I felt the site needed a change. Same colors though, cause I
don't wanna tediously go through every page and change colors. Designed this one
so that I can change the top banner as I please to my mood and don't really need
to bother making a whole layout change each time.
So like the change? yes? no? feel free to comment, hint hint.

I almost got run over today, by a guy. So there i was walking around campus,
blowing my nose, throwing my tissue into the trashcan when this guy on a
skateboard tries to do one of those trick things and skates onto the bench in
front of the trashcan and he skates onto it and jumps off rite into me. I woulda
fallen over but I blocked myself and kinda pushed him off of me. lol, i guess
those quick reflexes come in handy sometimes, don't they.

I don't wanna start classes!
Last nite before classes start, my roomies and I went out to dinner and
celebrated. I treated them out to TGIF, curtosy of Charlotte's gift certificates
and my cash. Now I have no cash again, hehe. Good cause no cash on me means I
dont have cash to spend them, which means im more than likely not gonna be able
to spend cash.

Again, Flash wasn't opened today. And I really meant to today, but my camcorder
ceased to playback my tapes and I spend the whole day trying to solved the
problem, bringing it to circuit city and good guys. Lucky for me, I was able to
get it to work again, how I dunno, Im just glad it works.
Then I also had to go to 99 to get cold medicine cause all the cold medicine
cant be taken if you have a thyroid disease. So its off to find chinese herbel
medicine to cure it.

What a way to spend New Years. Spent the entire day internship searching, and
sending out resumes and letters. I don't even know how many I sent out, just
searches, saw, clicked, typed, sent. And why are all the computer graphics
internships unpaid? I mean it wouldn't be a big deal to me, cause experience is
more important than money, but most of them aren't in San Diego, so I need to
somehow cover living or traveling expenses. And Im too poor to cover them if the
internship I eventually hopefully get doesn't help me somewhat monetarily.

I'm never watching movies with my mother. She turns movies around with her
twisted logic. We were watching Coming To America on TBS and she started saying
"yeah every parent that loves their children want them to marry a rich
person." And thought it was so wrong that the girl was in love with a guy
she thought was very poor. And it was just like *argh, yeah i get it, I'm not
allowed to marry a poor person.* Which she's emphasized to me so many times.

Happy New Year everyone!
Hope 2003 is a better year than 2002. Though 2002 was a rather interesting year,
but a bit too tired to post about it for right now, well say that for tomorrow
